US OPEN CONCLUDES AS WASELENCHUK, LONGORIA
AND CLOUSE WIN PRO TITLES
The 2011 US OPEN Racquetball Championships concluded as Kane Waselenchuk won his seventh men's US OPEN Racquetball Championship title in the IRT Pro division. Kane is undefeated in US OPEN finals and extended his match winning streak to 122 matches without a loss on the court.
Paola Longoria won her second women's US OPEN title in the WPRO Pro division. Paola won her first US OPEN in 2008 when she defeated Cheryl Gudinas in the finals.
This is racquetball's premier "Grand Slam" event and all of the top players in the world from the IRT, WPRO and CPRT compete for the largest total prize money purse in the sport. Players were also invited to party the night away with their favorite pros and racquetball friends from throughout the world and they were treated to view the stunning "made-for-TV" portable stadium racquetball court as they watched the best players in the world battle for a Grand Slam title.
